This time of year, there are many of these sunsets - just wanted to share! It was taken yesterday.

And this was taken this morning -- everyone always wonders where the end of the rainbow is . . . well, it's right here where I live!:cute: The rainbows started in the water and went up and over the building. The only camera I had handy was the Canon 800IS -- as you might imagine, the rainbows did not stay long. I can verify that there is no "pot of gold" at the end of the rainbow - at least, not at this end! LOL!! :biglaugh:

Thanks for looking. :-)

Fantastic Diane. I love the sunset shot, what gorgeous colors in that one. You did well with the rainbow.

Both very nice images, Diane. But I simply love sunsets, so have to choose #1 as my favourite. Thanks for sharing.

Both excellent renditions but I'm leaning more to #1. Heck, what do I know - I grin and bear it when I lift a camera up to take a landscape shot. But, that will change - soon.

Love them both.. And the first one makes the second one more interesting. This summer I passed the "end" of a very beautiful doubble rainbow too - but I was driving and could not stop and take pictures.. Great experience..

Thank you all - it's very interesting at my location because the sky/water changes on a daily basis as any of you know who live on or near the water.
