Finally getting around to posting some of the vacation pictures. Hope you find them enjoyable.

#1 Waddell Falls in Victoria Park - Truro, Nova Scotia

I love this place. FIrst came across it in our second trip to Nova Scotia. The sun was getting real low in the sky when we went through here. Wish my camera had higher ISO capabilities. But still the shot turned out okay.

#3 - Little Harbour, Nova Scotia

Occassionally, the sun does shine in Nova Scotia. When it does, it is a beautiful sght.

#4 - Near Lower Ship Harbour, Nova Scotia

Forgot to set the camera clock ahead an hour. The EXIF indicates the shot was taken at 6:24 p.m. It was actually 7:24 p.m. Shooting during the Golden hours always adds warmth to the image.

Thanks for looking.

I love the harbor shot. And that would be the primary reason I'd love to visit Nova Scotia. I'd like to add some shots like that to my collection.

You did well, Gene!

Sorry Kevin. Could have sworn I answered your post yesterday????

Appreciate your comments, Kevin. The harbour shots and the lighthouses are two scenes I especially try to capture when I'm down in the Maritimes.

Thanks Jeff. Victoria Park is a great place to be with a camera. Just wish I had brought the tripod along. Low light was forcing slow shutter speeds. Even with the IS, I ended up with too many blurry shots.

Lovely landscapes Gene, I've been through Truro but I don't think I've ever stopped there. I'll have to next time :).

That reminds me, I think my cameras must still be set to Mountain Time from my trip last summer :).

Thanks for commenting Ron.

Truro is a deceptive little town. Doesn't seem much at first glance. But each time we visit it again, I find more and more that I like about it. <smile> And that Victoria Park is a truly beautiful place that I'd like to spend several days meandering around inside of with the camera.

Thanks Paul.
Allow me to suggest you do the grand tour of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia & P.E.I. Need a month, minimum, but the three provinces are doable if you limit yourself to only the highlights. <BigGrin>

Then after you go back and do them again individually, you need to allocate time to do Newfoundland. I spent three weeks there last year. Need to go back and spend another month at least. <smile>
