For those Canon shooters who are new to RAW post processing, there is an excellent tutorial provided by Canon on the use of Digital Photo Professional which comes with your late model camera.

I haven't gone through all of it, but looked at enough to recommend it to those who would like to see what can be done with DPP. I believe it applies to Version 2. If you don't have Version 2, it can be downloaded as an update to your version 1.

Here is the link to the tutorial: http://photoworkshop.com/canon/dpp2/index.html

I'm anxious to give this a whirl. I tried DPP initially and wasn't crazy with the results (I could give a rat's patoot about Picture Styles). I've gotten so comfortable now with RSP but need to switch over to C1. But I'll give this tut a go and see what comes of it.

Thanks for sharing the link.

I just got back to this tutorial and took time to finish it. There was a lot there that I wasn't aware of myself. I recommend this to all new RAW shooters, and possibly some existing ones as well.

It doesn't take long to get through and I think it's certainly worth doing.

I have no idea why you can't. Try it again. I wonder if you need Quicktime.
