Those of you who use Vista may be aware that the very useful Power
Toy, MS RAW Viewer and Thumbnailer, doesn't work on the new OS. Canon
has released it's own Vista codec that allows for thumbnails
of RAW files in Windows Explorer as well as open and save dialog windows and
full sized images in Windows Photo Gallery. I've tried it and it
works like a charm. More info and a download link here...
