I'm new to the forum. I've had a K10D for just under a year and have been very happy with it. As others have said though the lack of long Pentax telephotos/zooms is a downer particularly as I like to photograph wildlife. So far I've been making do with Sigma 70-300 APO DL Macro which is ok but not outstanding. Looking to buy a Bigma or a Sigma 100-300 to get better IQ. After talking to another member of the forum who has owned both these lenses I'm leaning to the 100-300 with a 1.4 TC. Would ideally like some primes but those are really outside my reach at the moment. I have seen some excellent results from people who have used old Pentax prime telephotos. There are constant rumours about Pentax producing some new long primes, so hopefully they will eventually appear, though they'll probably be beyond my means anyhow. We live in England at the moment but hope to relocate to the Okanagan, BC, Canada during this year. Perhaps lenses are more affordable in Canada, I hope!

Just bought our daughter a K100D Super this Christmas. She hasn't had much chance to use it yet but so far it's producing great images.

Welcome aboard. As I mentioned in your other post, I'm sure you'll enjoy the Sigma 100-300 f/4. It's an excellent lens.
