I ran into this buck 3 times in 5 weeks,never got the shot i was looking for but this one didnt come out to bad (I think?)

Warmed up alittle with a contrast boost

No, it didn't come out bad at all! This is one of your best....Tack sharp, AGAIN! ;)

A striking photo of a handsome critter. I think a little post production could give it more impact though. If I can be so presumptuous here's my attempt using a tone curve in ACR to boost the contrast a bit as well as the white balance tool to sample the white on his neck and warm it up a bit.

Thanks for your suggestions ron, i agree that it needs alittle contrast and warmth. I made an adjustment but not quite as strong as yours. thanks for the comment.
