Thanks Rudi, thanks Harv.
The lens was really a sweet surprise. Closed down to f/4 to f/16 it matches a $600 Nikon 135/2 AF DC easily.

Very nice Igor, you've gotten the Dragon effect down pat.

If I bought a lens for $10 it wouldn't have a front element.

You're portraits are fantastic. I'm not much of a portrait photographer but I tried the 'Draganizer' plug in. I haven't a clue how that works. I guess it takes more than ten minutes to learn it doesn't it?

Thanks E.B. Nobody believes me, but I really bought this lens off ebay for $10 shipped :)

Thanks Joe, don't think it's easy, I polished the workflow on MANY portraits and still it's working NOT on every shot... Someday I'll compile a tutorial and post for everyone to try this effect.

Beautiful shots. Can you give us a description of you light setup?

Igor

Thanks Stewart.
The lighting setup is pretty classic:
1. 100W strobe with big softbox atop and slightly to the right.
2. 100W strobe at 50% power with reflecting white umbrella on the floor slightly to the left.
3. SB800 flash (for hairlight) behind/left in MC4 mode , 1/16 power, triggered wirelessly by the softboxes.

Very well done Igor.. and a very pretty model as well... Portraiture can really be fun when there is no pressure on model or photographer..

Thanks Bobby, glad you enjoyed the shots.
The model is my wife's niece, so she felt quite relaxed being a distant relative of mine :)
