This is the ONE photograph I absolutely regret not getting right. I was in the right place, right time, but everything else fell apart. I "fixed" this up in PS, but it really isn't the same as if I had gotten it right the first time. I could have lived with the cluttered BG, but missing the top part of my son's head just didn't cut it.

I bet you will get more chances at this action. They both look like they are having a great time.

Wonderful photo Lisa, at least you get another crack at this unlike my coyote who may be gone for good. Both beautiful subjects. When Mao sees this he will swoon(He's in love with his golden)

Hey, Nick! Digging out of all that snow? ;) nice to see you as well...and thank you...

Lisa Girl...... This is priceless! Samrolleyes; rolleyes; :coo3l:

Oh, Sam....I was eye level with the dog and just got my 17-55DX and I was having so much fun actually focusing on things....

I bet you will get more chances at this action. They both look like they are having a great time.

David, I can't even come close to this. I tried and tried, but when you try and stage something like this, it just won't work.

Bobby....I thank you much....I still really regret this one

Harv...thank you, but it would have been PERFECT if I just took my time. I'm always in a hurry to do everything. :(

Well, Mike, the older the kids get, the less likely they are to do what you ask of them...this little guy is no exception ;)

Lisa If this shot was superimposed over a blank frame could you not add a little hair? You're going to play with the BG anyway so it wouldn't matter if that was changed. If you can fix a wing tip for Keith you should be able to add a little hair to your son. No? If you're succesful all the bald guys will be sending you their family portraits.

Joe, I did fix this awhile back.....here is what it looked like when I was done

A lot of clone, cut and paste, dodge and burn....a LOT of cheating here ;) Certainly not the satisfaction I would have felt had I gotten it right initially.

Perhaps it isn't 100% to your liking Lisa but WoW did you ever turn a snapshot into a photograph. I really like it.

Thanks, Joe....a little dark and I could touch up his hair more, but I wanted to see if I could do it in case I don't get this opportunity again.

Thank you, Mao....those two are best buddies ;)

Lisa, I like the original more. The snaps are precious not because of their tech quality but because of moments they capture :) Don't feel you missed it, feel you captured it :)

Lisa the fixed one looks as good as the original. If you don't tell any one what you did with the fixed picture no one would guess, and still love it the same.

Thank you, Ellen! Was before smudging, otherwise I would have done a better job on his hair.
