Ron and I got out today for the iceraces. Here are a few from a different angle.

OK this one caught me by surprise and my cold thumb missed the focus button. IT is OOF, but I wanted to show how much traction these guys get on ice.

I don't ever want to hear anyone tell me the 100-400 isn't sharp and crisp. Not to mention great colour and contrast. Jeff, you're going to cost me money if you keep posting stuff like this. Great set.

Jeff That number two is AWESOME!!!!! I can hear it now as he demurely says, "Oh I just bumped the colour a little".

Thanks Harv.. Yes, the 100-400 is a great lens and small enough to be a walk around lens at that.. Especially if you are use to lugging that 300 around.

Honestly Joe, just a little bump! LOL

Thanks for looking and comments...

Great stuff as usual Jeff, damn shame about the focus on the first one, it would have been an awsome photo. Maybe you need to rethink custom function 4 in cold weather :).

Thanks Adrian.. These guys get better traction on the snow and ice then in the dirt in summer...

Thanks Kevin. Yes it is fun to watch these guys especially when they get competitive.
