I think I prefer the first one Igor. The color helps with the overall contrast, whereas the b&w seems to flat across the tonal range. However, a b&w shot with more 'pop' might emphasis the isolation and the feeling of being alone that this image conveys.

For me, I like the simplicity and the mood of the b/w. Isolates the subject better. I am a fan of b/w images, anyway.;)

For as much as I love B&W, I have to say the color version is far more appealing to me. The blue cast to the metal and the beautiful pastel colors in the background have a competing (but in a good way) effect. Despite the colors, the image conveys coldness to me. Very neat to see the difference in results when posted side by side.

The girl really looked upset, so I thought BW version should fit better here... though I myself like color version better too :)

I cast my vote for the colour version. I think the colour of the girl's hair adds a lot to the shot.

I normally would like the B&W one but the blue and red hair contrast looks better in the first one, just in my opinion...
