:nah: I need to tether my S-2 or D70 to an older laptop
Toshiba Tecra 8100 or to one of my newer Samsung flatscreen monitors. Anyone have any experience with this?:coo3l: BS

Do you mean shoot and results on screen for instant view.
The d70 and nikon software allows this, but the cable is fairly short.
No wifi for wireless, it does not support that.

:coo3l: Thanks dave
I figured it out yesterday. Also how to invert my verticals to show upright. I know the cord is short but having been in the audio visual business for many years I used what is called a "turn about" of which is just an rca fitting on each end the just get whatever length rca to rca you want. I was able to make one about 20 feet. The real hard part was to find a monitor that accepts AV cords. All of my computer monitors will not so I traded a friend one of my lenses that I haven't used in years for a 13"flatscreen. The resolution is not comparable to the LCD on the camera though so that still needs some work but I have a couple of weeks to perfect it. BS:wacko:

I have never done it rather than play with the Nikon software ounce but their has to be software that alows you to go through the computer and show on a lcd or crt for viewing as I have to do soon also.
Maybe some of these guys have done fashion were the director has viewing via wifi.
