Here's my 2 toulouse gals with their brood. A silkie chicken hatched her eggs in the toulouse's house, and somewhere along the line, the geese decided the chicks belonged to them! The chicks have grown up, but my Mother Geese still take care of them, no chickens or anyone are allowed near their brood! When they go for a swim the chickens rest nearby til the Mom's are done!

Here is 41/2 old Hunter in Duck Training! His duck training means he is not allowed to touch the call ducks! He is doing very well., but I get nervous when he swims with them. I would really hate to have to go in after him, but if he touches a duck, that's what I'll have to do!These are my babies. They don't look too great right now as they are all molting. All my birds run loose on the farm during the day, only locked up at night because of predators. So all our dogs learn the rules!:D

I want to see one where you have to go in after Hunter! Now that would be a hoot!! ;)

These are cool shots, Ann. You must really live quite a life up there in the bush. Like a Canadian Crocodile Dundee-ess

I love both of these shots, especially when you know the stories behind them. It's a wonderful world! :)

Before I even opened up this thread, I could tell from the title it "has to be Ann";) Very, very interesting life you lead:eek: I agree with Kevin and want to see a real "blooper" of you going into the water after Hunter. Your little guy is doing a great job, isn't he? How hard was/is it to keep him away from the ducks?

Thanks for looking!
Lisa & Kevin - I've been in the pond before, not because I wanted to, and it was really really gross!
