Did you not register the software with Adobe after alllll those years. At least one legal copy. They should have a record of you.
Keep calling ,talk to someone until you get the answer you want.

Yes, all the copies were registered, and they have records of everything. They still wouldn't do anything without me being able to recite that original serial number.

Cliff, you can purchase PSE and every once in awhile, Adobe offers an inexpensive upgrade to PS if you own PSE. Might be worth a try.

Cliff, if you registered everything you should be able to go to your account at Adobe and see all your registrations which includes the serial numbers. You may have to establish an account first but then you would be able to view all your registrations and applicable serial numbers. It seems to me that they also have access to this info but maybe they want to make sure that you are who you say you are and you should know your serial number. At any rate this should get it for you.....

The cheapest price I've found in Canada (so far) for a copy of Photoshop for Mac is $799.95 for an educational version of the now-outdated CS2 - and then I will have to spend another $200-$300 when the Intel Mac-compatible CS3 upgrade comes along.

If you have any version of PS Elements you can take advantage of this $299 US offer but you might want to wait until CS3 comes out in May. You just need to supply a legitimate Elements serial number.
