Hi guys:
Before I attempt this and break another piece of equipment, can I stack a Kenko Pro TC1.4 and a Nikon TC17EII?

Hi Lisa, I have the Tamaron 2xSP. I understand the Tamron and Kenko are supposed to be identicle, (I could be wrong) but I can stack it with my TC2x and TC1..4 I'm guessing you can do the same .

Take a really close look prior to trying to stack them, the TC-20 is different in this regard from the TC-14 and the TC-17. I'm not at home now, so can't tell you exactly how, but my Nikon TC's are modified to stack, and the TC-14 and TC-17 will not stack together, but either will stack with the TC-20. This may very well not be the case with the Kenko Pro. As I recall, the problem is that the Nikon TC-14 and TC-17 protrude somewhat out the front.
You will also, most likely, get incorrect data reported in EXIF, but you probably already see this with the Kenko alone anyway.

Hi Lisa, the link below might be of some help to you. I have the Nikon TC-20 , TC-17, TC-14 and the Tamaron SP2X. I converted the TC-20 and the TC-14 to use with more of my lenses. The Tamaron/Kenco does not have to be converted but is not a sharp as the Nikons. When you get to the link below I think that Christophe Heymans site I found very informative. Hope this helps.
