Hmmm... bridesmaids... ;) :D

Thanks Bob, Keith, and everyone who voted. I knew that comet had to be good for something! :D

Looking at the results, I am surprised that my comet image won. I'm also aware that I will have to watch Keith's kids in the future! eye; tapfoot;

Seriously folks, given the quality of the images submitted to our contests here at Pixel-Shooter, it is no exaggeration when I say that ANY ONE of those images could be a contest winner! So thanks again, but I reckon we have enough material for several calendars' worth already! :)

A very well deserved first place Rudi. I can't close without singling out two of our youngest members, Delaney and Mitchell Rankin. Wonderful job, we are all on notice now.

What a stunning collection! As Rudi noted any one shot could be the winner, but that said, his stands out. It's beautiful, it's composition is excellent, it's a unique once-in-a-life-time shot, it's a perfect execution of a technically difficult subject --- and it's beautiful.

Congratulations to all and a bow to Rudi.

(Private note to Rudi: I've made up my mind!)

Delaney, you keep shooting like that and it's only a matter of time until you win! I love your bird and wildlife photos (I guess squirrels are wildlife, right? :D), and your submission in this comp was no exception!

I'm sorry I missed this, everyone. Rudi, your comet shot is amazing, and probably a once in a lifetime shot. Thanks for sharing it with us all, so we could live the capture too.

And I'm thrilled to be included with the 5 photos. Those owl and bird shots are superb. Loved the colorfull bird! What kind is it, Peter, is it really a Nightowl? Quite unusual! Again I am honored to be included in the talent here.
