View Full Version : How to disable smilie animation

If you prefer that the smilies don't animate, you can easily change your browser settings.

Internet Explorer 6.0: Choose your Tools pulldown from the top of the page, Internet Options, Advanced Tab, under Multi Media, uncheck Play Anitmations in Web Pages. This will disable smilie animation in all your web pages.

In Opera 9.1, you can disable it for any specific site: Tools pulldown, Quick Preferences, Edit Site Preferences, Content tab, uncheck Enable GIF/SVG animation.

Thanks, Robert! I animated my GIFs to look at your post, lol. I think my eyes are still jiggling.:wacko:
