Nikon NX Trial Version Question

Morning,

I have heard from several people that NX raw conversion is superior to ACR (which I'm using now). So, I dl'd the trial version of NX thinking to check it out. Well, I don't seem able to actually save a jpeg or tiff version. Is that a limitation of the trial version? If No, has anyone encountered and solved this problem? If Yes, could someone point me to a place where I can compare the two?

Jim - Can't help you with NX, as I still use Nikon Capture, but I can verify that Capture is much better interpreting NEF files than either PS2 or PS3.

Yes, I've heard that. I live in NM now, but I was born in Missouri, the "Show Me" state so I wanted to see for myself. I may just go ahead and cough up the $150 though. It's just money, after all. ;)
