I did some tweaking of sports photo previously posted...
Too much PP..not enough? I'm very new to Aperture, btw...as in today was the first PP I did on images

Definitely an improvement, the original was too dark. My only concern is it seems a little too warm to me. Here's a quick levels and colour adjustment in PS.

Absolutely better skin tones in Ron's adjustments. According to my monitor.

mine too...
I liked the lighter edit in the first post but the WB was off (skin tones were too red/yellow). Aperture has a WB adjustment where you can just touch the dropper on something white/grey or black and it will fix things like that. It's a great program and once you discover all the bells and whistles, I think you'll be glad you bought it. I use it almost exclusively w/only an occasional forray into PS for an effects or frames...

Thanks everyone, I appreciate the feedback. I'm just learning aperture, and your comments are a tremendous help. I think my monitor is calibrated just fine, because when I view the pics online, I agree with your comments.
Thanks for taking time to comment. I'll keep working.
