Well talk about some nasty weather conditions. Raining like crazy, had the camera in a ziplock for a few hours:) Didnt due to much pp. USM and some saturation boost. Enjoy

Thanks for stopping by kevin. Apparently an hour after I left the guy in shot #2 hit the wall. some cosmetic damage and he is fine.

I guess the rain helped save some life in the tires...
I can't help looking at these and wonder if a slower shutter speed and a steady pan would create a unique look? Just my 2 cents....

These are very cool! I love this sort of stuff. Where were you and what were they all doing on the track?

Thanks Ron, I completely agree. These guys aren't quite "pro" drifters so the 1 sec they are actually sideways makes panning tricky. I am also working on getting at a good panning angle rather than straight on. Practice makes perfect;) Glad you critiqued them

thanks lisa. I was in the pit using a 200mm. Usually drifting occurs in the center track area with cones setup. The big guys use the outer circle and will sometimes drift in pairs or trios. Google drifting to get a better idea...personally i prefer autox:)

:) I use to race a little bit but not drifting. I was in auto-x events. Not a big drifting fan actually. The hobby was expensive and I enjoy photography more...not sure my wallet does though;)

Ron, yes tires were saved...somewhat
