Rather than continue to deal with what I find to be some frustrations related to book printing, I am considering doing my layout with Adobe Acrobat and then sending the resulting PDF to the printer. Blurb has a new square book layout available so I downloaded their new software and find it still has some limitations. Mainly the square book formats are too restrictive on photo sizes and text placement. Seems most of the pages with more than one photo and no text are around 2 inches maximum. Viovio, my favorite for books, still does not offer anything other than white pages and I prefer the black pages as it really makes the photos pop.

In checking out Acrobat, I find there is Acrobat Elements and then the fuller professional version. Has anyone had experience using these products for photo book layouts? I would really appreciate knowing how these work and if the Elements version is adequate.
Thanks much.
