In a head on I would bet on the Buffalo. I was on the bike in Huntsville last week and a Doe crossed the road in front of me. There was a good thirty feet between us but that was enough for me. Even a White tail at eye level is intimidating.

This is a fun shot, but that dude on the bike needs to put on a 'skid lid'.

Thanks Rob, no I live over 1000km from the nearest wild bison, this was taken while on a trip to Yellowstone National Park in the western United States.

On a bike I'd hate to hit anything much larger than a rabbit :). I once had to drive my truck off the road to avoid a moose :(.

Many states don't have helmet laws, I used to take my bike to Minnesota on occasion and take short rides without a helmet to feel the wind in what little hair I had :).
