Just kidding. I live in a small town on the north shore of Lake Ontario. We have 2 Coast Guard boats stationed in our harbour. I was at the harbour with my son on the weekend and one of the boats was just returning to it's berth. I decided to grab a couple of quick shots before it got to the dock, as well as a few after it tied up.

I know exactly what you mean Harv. I haven't taken a shot of anything but my cats in almost a month :cussing:. Today it snowed so I'm sure most if not all of the bugs are gone frozen; . You did a fine job with these.

Cool shot. Certainly not something I see around here. Those boats are probably as big as our little lakes up here! LOL

Just for the record, Nick... about 1/2 hour ago, we had snow and ice pellets here. Yuck. Thanks for the kind words.

Hi Harvey:
These are certainly more interesting than anything I could dig up. I like them! Sharp, well exposed and interesting!;)
And, it snowed here, too:eek:

Great shots, love the colours. Very crisp shots. I know the port very well, I used to sail into Cobourg quite a bit - have great memories of that lighthouse. Wonderful town for meandering. Lots of photo opps there.

Lisa, I don't believe for a moment that you couldn't dig up something more interesting than this. I've seen your beatiful work. However, thanks for your kind words.

Thanks a lot. As I think I may have said to you on a previous occasion at the NC, should you ever find yourself 'sailing' (by car or boat) into our town again, I hope you'll let me know and come to visit my wife and I. Oh yes, and my dogs and cats as well. :D

Thanks, Jared. That was on the weekend and we wore short sleeves. This morning it was below freezing and we ran our dogs on snow in the county forest. Welcome to Canada, eh.

Yeah - we have a little of that here as well Harv......the popular saying here in Idaho is "Don't like the weather?..........Wait five minutes...."
