I was wondering why, when in CS3 and in the Vista OP system, .psd files are only shown as blue colored icons with PSD in white on them. This is when you are in Photoshop and click on "File, Open" in order to select a file to work on. This is the only reference I could find about it on the Adobe site. Thought it might be of some assistance to others in case you're wondering about the same thing. It's a pain to have to have Bridge open to see a .psd file thumbnail before selecting it to work in CS3. Is this just me bothered by this?? :arghh:
"Photoshop CS3 does not provide thumbnail icons of .psd files through operating system folder windows. Please use the Adobe Bridge to view your .psd thumbnail files."
