You can see very clearly in this shot just how well the trailing pilots key on the wingtip of the aircraft in front of it. These guys are GOOD!

Thanks for posting that Eric - it is all that I had hoped it would be. You really got a great capture here....one of the better jets in formation shots that I have seen posted on the net. I do love how well you can see the pilots in this shot.....it's a great exposure too.

Thanks for posting that Eric - it is all that I had hoped it would be. You really got a great capture here....one of the better jets in formation shots that I have seen posted on the net. I do love how well you can see the pilots in this shot.....it's a great exposure too.

Fabulous crystal clear shot!! Those are such awesome planes...so powerful and capable of such terrifying destruction. I can't imagine the exhileration one must feel sitting at the controls.
I'm curious about the lens you used for this one. :)

Okay, Eric, I know this will be a stupid question, but exactly where were you when you took this picture? You look like you were right next to them. Excellent! Well I was standing on the flight deck of the USS Ronald Reagan CVN76 docked at Coronado Naval Base... The planes pretty much flew right by us...
