At the moment I am going through some older wedding photos that I will be framing for display at some of the local businesses (florist, hairdresser and such). Some of you may have already seen some of my wedding work, well, here is another one! :)
Shot at the bride's parents' house, before we left for the church. Unfortunately, the detail and tonality of the B&W print just do not come through in the web compressed sample (it is a digital file, shot with the 5D, just looks better printed for some reason...)

I think that is a wonderful shot Rudi.....I shot three weddings over the summer (one for money) and it was a very difficult assignment each time.
This shot is perfect in B&W to my eye and it is a very nice conversion that you have applied to it. I like the relaxed seated pose of the bride - you really do not see that very often, but I think it works here.

I think it's a very nice, carefree image of the bride on her special day. I actually like the symmetry of the setting as well.

CAREFREE? RELAXED??? You should have seen the look on her face when I asked her to sit down on the front steps!
We got a blanket and laid it down carefully, tucked it out of sight, and then we got the shot! Remember, this was BEFORE the ceremony... :)

Rudi, great shot -- love the balance in the composition. You have a great knack for posting wonderful shots under the most benign titles -- as in this case -- "another wedding shot" sounds like just another "mundane" wedding shot, but I have learned that your shots are ones that I want to go look at regardless of the plain-Jane title you give them -- haha, you can't trick me any more ;)

Alright Mike, you got me! I was trying to lull you into a false sense of security. :)

Very well done rudi. I like the black and white and symmetry as others have stated

Thanks Jonathan! As soon as I saw the front of the house, I knew I had to ask her to sit there, it just took me a little while to work up the courage! :)
