These two objects were captured with the TAK Sky 90 refractor and 20D. This is a total of 27.5 minutes of exposure time. Needs much more to do it justice, still I'm happy with the results. Can you spot the pelican?

Images like this sure make you feel puny and insignificant. Wonderful photo NH. Yes I think I have located the peilcan.

I'm guessing the pelican's head/beak is running diagonally and located between the two bright stars. Funny how the left side you can make out the NA continent (having seen the name ahead of time helps). Naming them must be like playing the cloud game as a kid. :)
