Well, a few more shots from Miramar Airshow... Shot about 800 images and have to edit still...
Arrived there and it was raining, but waiting it stopped and cleared up with nice clouds and patches of blue skies...
Here are a few of the planse on the ground.

Looks like a lot of time passed between 1 and 3....(assuming they're from the same year and visit! ;))
I like the last one best. How close did they let you get?

Ok, smart ass...LOL; tapfoot; They are actually from the same day.. First shot was taken when I arrived around 9am.. and the third shot was taken when I left around 4:30pm.. same day...
That was as close as I could get to the planes...

Well, the last time I assumed I was informed that they were from years past so I didn't want to make the same mistake twice. I know how sneaky you can be (and slow to pp). ;)

Nope kevin.. the airplane shot are usuall as current as they can be... I probably will not get the rest of these processed and edited before I go to Edwards AFB at the end of October...

Somehow I missed these. These are great shots. I would love to be at an airshow on an actual airstrip. The Chicago A&W show only has the planes flying, they take off from Gary IN. Did the Harriers do any vertical take offs?

Thanks Nick.. Yep to answer your question the Harrier did a vertical takeoff and landing....

The third on down (later in the day helicopter row) is simply awesome. Can't wait to win the contest your having where first place is a copy of it. Thats great.
