The Pigeon River separates Minnesota and Ontario west of Lake Superior part of the world's longest unguarded international border (so far) .

Thanks Jeff, this was shot in Grand Portage State Park MN about halfway down the trail to High Falls. The trail head is a couple of hundred feet from the US Customs.

Actually it is in spots, specially in New Mexico.

I use to Live in Minn for 5 yrs. In the winter time, I dont think many would survive trying to cross that border. As I think I do see the summer guards buzzing around. The Mosquito! They will swarm and eat you alive or carry away a small child!!! :) I was NW of the Twin Cities, and My mom is from Just south of Duluth, Along the Kettle River, and where we are in Alaska, is a lot nicer and more temperate year round!!!!!
