That is why I have a metal case for me lens...softens the blow.

Update: Jose should be able to join me for those who know him

Argh! Wouldn't I love to be there Jonathan.

Say hello to Jose for me and to thank him once more for lunch.

Have fun Jonathan!

I'll be in Green Hill, TN next Saturday to look at some equipment...worthwhile taking the camera down?

Mao, definitely take your camera. I lived in Nashville for 6 yrs and would go shooting quite a bit. Centennial Park (with the only life-sized replica of the Parthenon), downtown Nashville is very picturesque, especially the old parts, Printer's Alley, city skyline from across the river. Of course my favorite are the big, old mansions in Belle Meade, or even the rolling hills of Brentwood (Old Hickory Blvd). It's quite a beautiful city.

Mao, hit the zoo up if you can. Also I might be willing to make the trip up and I am sure my dad (also a nikon shooter, who lives in TN) and I would love to possibly meet up. Now if only I could convince Jonathan to come visit.

Oh and jonathan, The metal case can only protect so much of your body, so pick your placement wisely46;
