Nice set Mao, luv the action and the colors. I luv horse racing although I spend more time watching the pacers as my inlaws race for a living........thanks for sharing and great post. Hope you didnt mind, I changed the url to embed the images so easier for everyone to see :)

Great shots, Mao. I can see now why you won't give up the camera. It looks like you were pretty close to the action. Where was this? Woodbine? Which lens did you use to get these?

Hey Mao, great set, I love the look of determination on the Jockey's faces. Colours are wonderful. Your plan to go to Woodbine sure was a good one.

Harvey they were all shot with the 100-400mmL IS. You know how rainy and murky it was on Sunday but the camera and lens pulled through for me!

Really nice work and excellent pano crops. I would have considered a bump in ISO to raise the shutter and really nail the sharpess on those tight crops. Overall very good stuff.

Now this looks like something that would be really fun to shoot! Really like #5, 6, 7 but agree with Joe. A bit more shutter and they'd be really sharp. Great job on the cropping, too. An interesting presentation.
