I was out shooting landscapes and animals and came across this gentleman. I thought it might make an interesting photo. Critiques please.

Well for one thing, he doesn't have Harv's hat (just joking). My only comment would be that I would have shown a profile of his face. Nice shot.

Really seems like it needs a story to go with it....

I like the shot - it is a great example of a photo that you post and then everyone tries to come up with the background story to the photo. This would be perfect for that exercise.
