.... in the middle of the Arizona desert in Monument Valley miles away
from anybody. With the temperature exceeding 100F I decided it was
time for a cold drink so I got out of the truck and opened up the box
cover to get at the cooler when I look down and there was a dog
sitting there in front of me tail wagging with a big sloppy tongue
hanging grin on his face. Curious as to what he was doing out here I
bent down and gave him a pat on his head when I noticed a herd of
goats a few hundred feet away. Pooch stayed with me long enough to
enjoy a good scratch under his chin then took off at a trot to tend
his flock :).
