From the Miramar 2006 Airshow.... Marine Air-Ground Task Force (MAGTF) Demonstration
A MAGTF is a self-sustaining combined-arms force organized for a specific mission. The four elements—Command, Ground Combat, Aviation Combat and Combat Service Support—work seamlessly together.

Just wonderful shots Eric - loved looking at each of them to be honest. I think that the last one is my favorite though - great capture of the soldier there.

Looks like you got some great shots Eric. Nice slow shutter speeds on the helicopters and panning on the tank.

5,6,7,8 are all wonderful, I like it that the blades are not stopped and shows motion. Man that is one show I would luv to photograph. 7&8 are a toss up, both are great shots! Nicely done Eric

Thanks Princess Keith... LOL; slap; drinks; Well, if you can make a trip down here this is the info for the show.. They do this every year around the same time frame http://www.miramarairshow.com/ Next weekend I am headed to Edwards AFB for their open house...

Eric - I am going to be in San Diego for a week starting on 11/8. Are there large ships around the port that I can shoot pretty much anytime? Looking for your guidance as I am excited to be in the area soon.

Well, there are Navy ships around, but not sure how accessible they will be for you... If you are interested and can make a run to Vegas while you are here? There is a Airshow at Nellis from November 11-12....

Eric, you always manage to get yourself into the heart of the action on these military photos. This is an opportunity most of us will never have and I thank you for sharing these with us.
It provides me with a sense of being there so I know these shots work.

It provides me with a sense of being there so I know these shots work. Thanks Harvey.. Not sure I am in teh midst of things, but the use of a long tele lens sure helps out quite a bit.....
