this is one of my sharpening techniques if the moderators wish to take it and embed it in this post please do so, but here is a link to the web page that I have created, the two images below are before and after, the image was chosen because I believe it shows the biggest difference between unsharpened and sharpened, image one is unsharpened and image 2 is sharpened with the technique in the link.

Thanks for sharing this information, Phillip! While drinking my coffee this morning, I went through your tutorial and tried it out on a couple of my images. What a dramatic difference!! I had heard of High Pass Filter sharpening before and even have a bookmark for a sample but have never tried it. You can be sure I'll be investigating this method more from now on!
