Well part of testing out the new body was checking out the macro. Had some difficulty getting the Tamron to AF ( 3rd party ) but Its macro and manual so no no biggie.

Anywho heres a few I managed earlier today.

Still trying to figure out how to shoot flowers. Dunno if im getting better or not :)

Some nice shots here. That third one is beautiful. Love the in & out of focus on the petals & background is perfect

That lens just produces such beautiful results! Curious about the AF issues. Never heard of a Tamron behaving like that. Sigma, yes. Did you get it resolved?

I beleive so Kevin. I suspect that the trouble I was having is a result of a new CF that enables/disables "Lens AF search".

At first I thought the Tammy wouldnt focus due to 3rd party and a new body. Wasnt overly concerned as I manual focus 90% of the time. Later on my 400 f5.6 stopped focusing sporadically as well and the only thing I can think of is the CF which seems to have been corrected...Atleast I havent run into any trouble since changing the CF.

As for the lens, yeah it seems nice, wish I could bring out the best in it. :)
