Do you prefer B&W or the Color options?
A bit of posterization on the sky due to shrinking down to a reasonable size for posting

For me personally it's the color versions. I can appreciate b&w images and both of yours are done very well, especially the last one. When I'm out and about one of the things that excites me is the colors that only nature can provide so I guess that's why I prefer the color versions. I was looking at something this weekend that I'm sure would be a great b&w image but what first caught my eye was the color. It was a dead tree that had turned almost white set against a blue sky. During the fall I am so blown away by the colors and beauty that I just put my camera away and enjoy the scenery. How goofy is that?

Hard to pick on the first photo, as both the color and b&w seem a little flat, possibly from resizing. But the second image pops nicely, and I'd give a slight favor to the b&w, as I think it presents the shapes really nicely.

The first one ,definitely B&W. I think you hit all the zones and the texture is great. The only improvement I could image would be to have some puffy clouds in the sky. :)

I think i like the B&W version of #1 better though i think it could stand just a tad more contrast. Not too much.
For #2, I really like both versions. I like the tones in the color version but I think I actually prefer the B&W version of that shot.

I have started messing around with B&W conversion lately from the color shots... I think i like the B&W version of #1 better though i think it could stand just a tad more contrast. Not too much.
