Well, since I don't have one of those fancy micro lenses for macro work.
I went a different direction.

Very nice Eric! Love the vibrant colour and clarity! The last one is my favourite, looks like the flower has gone crazy or terribly confused...
BTW, I'd get you 70-200 checked, the VR seems to be broken... :biglaugh:

I like the 2nd and 2nd to last ones best. Multiple exp? Great colors in these. Get ext tubes or a 500D if you want to explore macro....it's alot cheaper than a dedicated lens.

Nice work, Eric. I'm partial to the 3rd shot. Who says you need a macro lens?

Regards,Jonathan Thanks Jonathan... Yep, i think the VR just went totally crazy on me or something while handholding it... Images looked fine in the viewfinder though...I like the 2nd and 2nd to last ones best. Multiple exp? Great colors in these. Well, Special K. You are correct consists of 20 exposures overlayed in camera... Been thinking about the 500D or extension tubes, but don't know of any that work with AF-S lenses...

Yes, either the 500D or the extension tubes will work with your 70-200. I used the 500D on the 70-200 briefly and it worked fine. The extension tubes contain no optics so there's nothing to affect the image quality. They just reduce the minimum focusing distance.

Not having a macro lens didn't seem to stop you in the least Eric. I like them all, but flower power it is because numbers 2 & 5 had me feeling like I had eaten some 'bad' mushrooms. Oh, the bad ol' days are thankfully over, never to be repeated again. :)

Yep will look into those again... Since switching to digital i sold off my extension tubes since those did not work with AF-S lenses...Not having a macro lens didn't seem to stop you in the least Eric.
