Don't see players sliding into first much, but I did 1 1/2 years ago. Going through old junkie shots, I happened upon this image of "Mr. Working Mans Gloves" sliding in. Hope you enjoy...

Yeah, kind of. The runner (slider?) is close, but is already on his way "down". The ball, although farther away, is traveling faster....

That is a fantastic capture Craig - well done. I love the fact that you can see the player that threw the ball in the background as well. Is this a local minor league team?

As he is looking towards the pitching mound - 3rd base I would guess a bunt????
