Hi folks,

A month or so ago some cagey Aussie guy sold me a Lowepro bag big enough to camp in and thrust a 5D into my sticky mits for a quick feel.....expensive move!
This shot was taken with the 5D and a 180L...no flash, just early morning sun (a rarity in the UK this summer).

O you've got to watch those terrible Australians. I've heard some frightening stories about them. LOL I'm not suprised about the 5D. It was born with a macro lens in it's mouth. Great shot btw. :cheer:

Charles,

These are shots from around the garden and the 180's king. I got the 100 for sticking in the bag one the off chance I needed something close whilst out.

You may see the fruits of your lens one day...in fact, I've give it an outing soon....just for you eh?

Hope the lady and the new arrival are progressing as well as can be expected.

Cheers...Bob

Kevin.....yep, the 180 deserves a 5D. Having just shelled out for the 5D though it's difficult to get the focus right....my eyes are still watering too much. UK prices are a little heavier than over there. ;(

Keith.....I'll "not help" some more.

The 180L is wonderfully adaptable.....a 1.4x T/C and a couple of tubes.

Not my best attempt....colours and light are wrong but the detail is there to be judged.....

Or, ever wondered how many pollen grains you can stick on a fly's tongue?
