Have been looking for a subject to try a pano & was walking over this bridge & thought that the scene from side to side looking down the creek might be a good start.

Took a light reading of a few sections of the scene went to full manual mode & set focus to Manual & shot a series of 10 shots.

When I got home I converted them to Jpeg in Photoshop, downsized them to 1500 pixels along the long edge & stitched them together in Ptgui. Completed file ended up 3.6 megs

Any advice/help would be greatly appreciated

Looks good to me Rob, I'm by no means an expert (or very good at it) but it seems to be seemless and the exposure even. Now get to the outback and get some panos there.

Nice pano Rob! Looks like you had the exposure down pat and consistent across the board.

BTW, look like your original is saved in Adobe RGB colour profile, so they looked a little washed out in the web browser. You should save to sRGB for the web as most web browsers are not colour profile aware.

Thanks Jonathan, one thing I did not know. First couple I had a bit of vignetting. Just need to do a bit of practice

Rob, finding a good place for a pano shot isn't always easy.
One thing I learned in the digital photography I took earlier this year is that to get good results you need to use a tripod. ( You didn't say here whether you did or not.)

There are also special pano heads you can get to keep the pivot point constant.

What is helps to achieve is to allow you to include more of your shot in the final cropped image.

This looks pretty good to me for a start.

Thanks Viginia, Yes have the tripod with the Manfrotto 303SPH so that worked well. This was my first attempt with the gear. Biggest problem I had was vignetting with incorreect app. Was using 50mm on the 1DS Mk11. Am going to have another attempt this evening if I can find the right setting. Appreciate your comments
