The Golden Knights perform precision aerial maneuvers while falling to earth at speeds reaching 120 miles per hour, then landing dead center on target is the trademark of the United States Army Parachute Team, the "Golden Knights."

They performed at the Miramar 2006 airshow.... Here are a few shots

WOW! Beautiful captures, Eric........I really must get myself out to see an air show one of these days. My favorite is #4 simply because of the awesome effect the clouds give to this image as a whole.

Great shots Eric, being afraid of heights, gives me the shivers just imagining this. Why they want to jump out of a perfectly good aircraft is beyond me.

Thanks Jonathan.. The season is waning down now for airshows... last one I know of is in Vegas at Nellis AFB....

These guys sure are nuts. I saw them earlier this year and they jump from so high up that you can hardly see the plane. Did they have the photographer jumping with them with his helmet cam? Now that would be a cool job! Great pics of these guys Eric.

I get another whack at them this weekend out at Edwards AFB Open House....

Those are awesome shots! I've never seen anything like that at air shows here, but again it's been a few years since I've been to one.
