These photos were taken Friday Sept 28th in Algonquin Park Ontario.

It rained off and on all morning and it remained overcast most of the day except for about one hour and that was in the morning when I got the Rock Lake photos.

However, the rain didnt dampen my spirits, I was excited to be there and I enjoyed the day.

The colours are at their peak this weekend and they are spectacular there is no other word for it. There are so many shades of reds, oranges and yellows.

Thank you Joe for suggesting Rock Lake, it was amazing!! No moose to be found just lots of fantastic scenery.

Here are a few of the photos, enjoy and thank you all for looking!

Sally I'm so proud of you. You really pulled it off. The number of times I've walked the north beach of Rock Lake. The cottages you captured will all be gone in a few years. Everything will revert back to wilderness. The trees peaked just in time for you and you did a magnificent job of getting it all in a beautiful series of landscapes. Certainly hope you and your husband had a good time and I'm glad I could be of service.

Great series, Sally. You certainly took advantage of the peak colour change and did a wonderful job of it.

Thank you Mao, Virginia Joe and Harvey for your comments, I couldnt believe how beautiful the foliage was both on the way to and in the Park.
Joe, thank you again for suggesting the places to journey around to. I loved Rock Lake btw, and my husband and I the best time at the Park.
My husband is still hoping to see a moose.... next visit!

Sally,

These are wonderful with those nice saturated fall colors. I think #4 is stunning! Love the composition in that one.

Absolutely gorgeous colours Sally. When Algonquon is on, there is no finer place to be.
