40D checks out my garden

I went thru the garden to see how my plants have survived last years long hot and dry summer. They did not do to badly. So this is my Rhododendron. taken with 40D and the 400 lens. The color is absolutely correct. Love that background color.

This is a native plant and very pretty. I took this with the 70-200F4 lens.

Ellen, your first flower is gorgeous! The 40D and the 70/200F4 are a splendid combination on the second shot. I am excited with this. I hope to have a 40D in the new year and I shoot almost exclusively with the 70/200 F4.

I will whole heartely recomend the 40D, it is just fantastic. As Joe told me, run dont walk to the camera shop and get one.
