I have a laptop with an 80 gig drive,33 gigs on the (C) drive and 33gigs on the Data (D) drive. when i put a card in my reader it automatically drops the pics into the (C) drive and it is now full,whats up with the (D) drive,how do i download pics to it.

Transfer your pictures from the C drive to a new folder in the D drive. If you're planning to shoot a lot and keeping a lot, consider buying an external hard drive to store.

Sounds like you have the Autoplay feature in Windows associated with your card reader and a program is automatically uploading the photos. You really don't need a program to do this for you since you can drag the files from your card reader to any drive using Windows Explorer. To disable or modify Autoplay go to Start>My Computer, right click on the card reader (it should appear as a removeble drive) and choose properties then the Autoplay Tab. Select either Take No Action, Open Folder or Prompt me theb clcik Appy. In the future whatever one you chose should be what will happen.
