Found this outside the door yesterday morning...

I didn't know they jump... She leaped a good 6 inches... These are the shots I took after taking her off my nose :)

I was kidding about the nose part :)... I move quick enough;)..

Look how puny its head is. Rather than stomp on him, I'd need a BIG can of Raid with a really long shooting capacity. :D

You're making it sound as if that's a wild creature when we all know that's what you use for 'guard dogs' in the Bahamas, Pappy. Extraordinary set of shots.

Joe: The guard dog went running and yelping like a little baby:D :D I now have the Tarantula secured with the dogs chain collar, and have it on a run outback ;) Glad you like these shots Joe :) :)

Me too Ellen.... It dropped off the ceiling right on to my head... :). Thats when Midnight, our guard dog went running away... Some best friend hey?? ;)

Hi Sally.... Yep damndest thing I ever saw.... I am not a bettin man, but I would bet it can do a longer standing broad jump than I can.....

I hate the things and at the same time fasinated with them Its just the thought of them sticking those fangs in you and sucking the life out of you.

Ok, scary but also elegant (image #1) in it's own way....just glad it was you taking the pictures, not me!
