Where's Waldo, friend has a bee hive and was feeding the bee's he was all suited up but it was cold enough that only a few were flying so I walked right up and took some pictures, D200, 28mm ais.

This might be a Wool Carder Bee, female, had lots of them this year for the first time, strange solitary bee, the males guard a patch of flowers from other bee's and only lets females onto the flowers others are attacked they don't sting so they wrestle the other bees.
