The advent of a cool misty rain has served to signal the end of another summer season. Soon the colours of autumn will pass quickly and be replaced with the stark muddy colours of an approaching winter... The days are getting shorter....the lawn has probably seen it's last blade for the season. And new but short lived life forms are emerging:
Edible? Who knows...it looks just fine where it is ...so it needs to be left alone.

These will soon be covered by a harsher more taxing form of moisture.

And the flowering crab has a few berries left to be eaten by our friendly deer.

But change comes hard to some....as they continue to struggle to survive within a changing climate:
