Well a pile of rocks or basalt in columns. Actually some shots from Devils Postpile area in Eastern Sierra..

Fantastic shots Eric. Subject really suits IR. Love the variance in the color in the trees in the first. Obviously the light & shade had a large effect. Really beautiful

Can shoot the same subject in IR as well as color...
