Beautiful Rudi, love the DOF, framing and the color and crispness is wonderful, these flower captures could become addicting.

Excellent pastel shades here Rudi. The comp is terrific as well. Bobby asked a good question re: G9. Do you like it?

They're different animals, Bob. The G9 is ultimately the more capable beast, but requires more foreplay to get the most out of it. The F30 is amazing at high ISO settings - it is still king in that department. But... a lot of that is noise reduction, and the F30 only shoots JPEG, so you cannot tweak it. You can tweak the G9, plus you can use external flashes with it - and that is a great capability to have. Overall, I like the G9 for more serious work. The F30 is a great camera for snaps. The F30 is lots smaller, and easier to take along with you, more so than even the G9 (and THAT is small compared to a DSLR!).

I love it, Joe. I'm having some white balance issues with it, but these are because Adobe RAW is still in beta as far as the G9 is concerned, and the next release will fix it. No biggie, I can tweak the colour balance before RAW conversion, but I'm looking forward to a time when I don't have to worry about it. :)
