:confused_1: I'm working with Adobe Photoshop Cs2 one on one training book and I'm a little stuck. Correcting an image using "levels" changing the input levels I understand that I have to do so by nudging the numbers via my keyboard arrows. No problem there, except one. Adjusting the midtones, how do get a 1.10 say?? Just can't figure out how to get the 10.

Must add, for those wanting to understand image editing in Photoshop, this is an awesome book!

Wish I could help you more, but....all I ever use with levels are the sliders....:) You can be fairly precise with them and should be able to get whatever value you want rolleyes; Will check tomorrow when I get to my full PS setup....;):)

I don't have CS2 here with me, but I think you can just type the value into the textbox. Or, even just put your cursor in the midtone box and use the arrow keys. I know I use that method on other types of adjustments and think it's the same for Levels.

I just tried what I suggested above and it works using the arrow keys. You just have to click the midtone textbox to highlight it then using the arrow keys will adjust it + or -
